National Indigeous Day - June 9th

PLRS will be participating in National Indigenous Day activities at Buck Mountain Central School on Friday, June 9th.

Online permission form access closes at 4:00 pm Thursday, June 8.

There will be NO classes on June 9th.

Students will NOT be allowed to hang out at the school or stay behind. 

Students are NOT allowed to drive themselves. 

We are strongly encouraging all students to attend. It will be a fun-filled day of learning and activities.

Itinerary - Friday, June 9th

8:45 am - Student attendance is taken/load busses

9:00 am - Busses leave for Buck Mountain

10:15 am - Introduction/open ceremony

10:30 am - Teepee raising/teaching

12:00 pm - Free lunch

1:00 pm - Dancing/round dance

1:45 pm - clean up

2:00 pm - Busses leave for PLRS

2:45 pm - Busses arrive back at PLRS

2:45 pm - Students go to block 5 class for check-in and wait for busses
